INTRODUCING THE 3-STEP PATHWAY

We are delighted to introduce a progressive trauma-informed pathway to guide schools and educators towards becoming trauma responsive. Follow this online pathway and you and your school will develop the capacity to support vulnerable or challenging pupils in your care. This is your path to creating a fully trauma responsive teaching and learning environment.
How does it work?
There will be 3 steps on the pathway.

STEP ONE: BECOME TRAUMA AWARE
THREE HOUR WORKSHOP + REGULAR WEBINARS / Q&A SESSIONS THROUGHOUT YEAR
You will gain knowledge of trauma theory. You will learn to build awareness around trauma in your school or organisation. This step will give you the knowledge to challenge your thinking around behaviour and disruption in your educational setting.

STEP TWO: BECOME TRAUMA SENSITIVE
FIVE-DAY TRAINING COURSE + REGULAR SKILLS PRACTICE / WEBINARS / Q&A SESSIONS THROUGHOUT YEAR
You will start to put your skills into practice, create a team of champions, support your pupils in their learning and reduce stress in your classrooms.

STEP THREE: BECOME TRAUMA RESPONSIVE
NINE MONTH DIPLOMA + REGULAR SUPERVISION / SKILLS PRACTICE / WEBINARS / Q&A SESSIONS THROUGHOUT YEAR
You will take a deeper dive into integrating trauma-informed practice in educational settings. You will embed your practice, hone your leadership and behaviour change skills, change the culture in your educational setting to ensure every child and young person has access to learning. This step will also encompass regular reflective practice, which we know is a key element of being trauma-informed.
Step Three will commence in early 2024.
